About us

Summer Uni London is based within Tower Hamlets Summer University. We are drawing on the expertise and passion of the charity, which was the first Summer Uni piloted in 1995, to strengthen existing Summer Unis and support new boroughs in developing their own Summer Uni.

In 2007 we had 16 Summer Unis and two pilots offering Summer Uni courses. This summer, we had 32 London Boroughs running a Summer Uni and it's only our second year! We are the only web service offering online enrolment for Summer Unis.

Our website is packed full of opportunities and ways for you to get involved. Be it signing up for a course in the summer or during other times of the year, becoming a volunteer, getting involved in one of our events, or simply looking through our myspace, flickr and YouTube sites, we hope that you make full use of our new and exciting website!
