Summer Uni Seminars 2009

The Summer Uni Seminar is a two day free training course, designed for newly employed staff who plan and deliver an existing Summer Uni or those staff setting up a new Summer Uni.

The course covers the following areas:

• How to plan and Summer Uni
• How to run a Summer Uni Course
• How to fully engage young people in Summer Uni
• Registration options
• Marketing and publicity
• Accreditation and quality assurance
• Funding a Summer Uni

Curently, there are two Summer Uni Seminars planned:

• 4 – 5 February 2009 (SUSeminar0901)
• 22 – 23 April 2009 (SUSeminar0902)

To register your initial interest and to gain further information on Summer Uni Seminars, please send an email to SUL@summeruni.org stating the number of places required and preferred date.

This course is free to those in the Summer Uni London Network. However, as the course is valued at £498 there will be a £25 nonattendance charge should the place not be taken on the day.

The Seminars run in addition to the Summer Uni Network meetings which are designed for everyone in the Summer Uni Network.
