Festival of Youth Arts

The Festival of Youth Arts (FYA) delivers an annual week long pan London youth arts festival including visual arts, film, music, dance, performance and fashion. Participation is free and is open to any young person or group aged 11-25 years. In 2007, participants designed and delivered a week long festival including 2000 young performers and 100 young people who delivered the content of the events. Applications can be made online, with additional opportunities to showcase work through our MySpace site.

Ideas Foundation

Talent Shop is a programme run by The Ideas Foundation in association with Venture Thinking. It is a summer academy running from 23 -  27 July at the London College of Communication, where students aged 14-19 have a talent for design, enterprise and marketing. Students are working on a live brief to design a new product to go on sale in November at the Star Shop at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Participants will have access to first rate tutorial support and world class design facilities. If you are interested, please contact Heather MacRae.

London Gifted and Talented

 London Gifted & Talented, Summer of Talent 2007 will be holding fun and challenging activities for students and teachers aimed at identifying, developing and nurturing talent. The courses are free to London state schools and run from July to August.

This summer the focus is on art, film and sport and they'll be offering an inspiring, diverse programme of workshops, activities and online collaboration.
