The UK Youth Parliament formed in 1999 is the democratic voice of young people aged 11 to 18. Through this site you have the opportunity to vote for or even stand as a Member of Youth Parliament.

Young London

Young London, the Mayor's website for Young Londoners, offers information on travel, things to do and issues facing young people in London. The site also offers advice on young persons rights and how to have your say on issues that effect you.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award aims to provide for young people an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal development, which is of the highest quality and the widest reach.

The Award, according to its key principles, is non-competitive, available to all, voluntary, flexible, balanced, progressive, achievement-focused, a marathon not a sprint, offers personal development, and is enjoyable.

Unltd

UnLtd Sport Relief gives cash awards to young people between the ages of 11 and 21 who want to use sport to address a social problem or conflict within a community. UnLtd also provide a support package of one to one support, practical training and the chance to network with other Award Winners.

 

Headliners

Headliners - formerly known as Children's Express - is a UK-wide news agency producing news, features and comment by young people for everyone. Through their programme young people aged 8 to 19 are encouraged to research and write articles for publication in local media.

Creative People

Creative People is a national network providing information, advice and guidance to support all those who work in arts and craft industries in making the most of their careers. The site offers information on resources and events: workshops, conferences, courses, mentoring schemes, critical appraisal services and online toolkits.
