SUL volunteering
SUL Youth Advisory Group
What is it?
Summer Uni London hosts its own London wide Youth Advisory Group. We do this in partnership with London Youth (Network for Youth clubs) and The Mayor's Children and Young People's Unit
We first run an accredited residential training programme where you find out a little bit about each of our organisations and have training in how to take minutes, chair meetings and in other relevant skills.
Once the meetings start you can have your say on a number of issues and can bring your own items to the agenda.
Agenda items brought by us partners must cover topics where you can both influence and see the outcomes of your input... believe us we need your help in many areas!
We also update you regularly to keep you up to date in our organisations development.
How do I get involved?
We will soon be posting opportunities on this very SUL volunteering page and we always keep you up to date on what we are doing in our news and events.
So keep coming back and looking for opportunities.
Other SUL volunteering opportunities
We also run regular events. For example in the summer we run a sports festival, and an arts exhibition.
There will be plenty of chances to get involved as a steward, an invigilator or even in helping to run an event yourself. So keep checking this space!
